pro
Puss is a likeable character and the developers have mostly been able to extend his charm from the Shrek and Puss in Boots movies into the game.
pro
The developers seem to have taken some inspiration from Bulletstorm, as you're able to kick and push enemies into different objects and score bonus points depending on the variations in your takedowns. This is a somewhat interesting mechanic that might at least keep you entertained for a few missions, if not all the way through the game for the first time.
pro
The Bandit Boot mini-game, where you earn points by kicking bandits into different objects, can be fun for awhile.
pro
A very easy platinum trophy for those who are into that kind of thing.
con
While the graphics are fine, most of the levels simply feel generic with nothing particularly interesting about them.
con
The game is mostly an "on rails" swordfighter where Puss moves from point to point by himself, and you control his sword with either a Playstation Move controller or with the right stick of the Dual Shock. Unfortunately both of the control options feel kind of sloppy, and aside from the Bulletstorm-influenced takedowns the fighting mechanic quickly becomes repetitive.
con
The majority of the packed in mini games are no fun at all.
con
The game in itself is incredibly short and will only take you about 2-3 hours to finish. Combine that with no real reason to play it again (other than for trophy addicts to finish up their platinum) and you'll quickly see that there is not a lot of value to be had here.
