Supermassive games have created a Doctor Who game that makes it fun to use a Sonic Screwdriver. The Eternity Clock takes you on the start of another well written Doctor Who adventure to save all space and time. With a play time of about 4 hours, gameplay with the Sonic is completely natural and it's used for many things from unlocking doors to combat. When playing as River your other weapon is a pistol. The pistol is great fun when shooting the eye stalk of a Dalek.

The voice acting, being provided by Matt Smith and Alex Kingston, is perfectly delivered and mixed with an excellent musical score. Monsters and the Sonic sound great.

Playing from two different characters viewpoints and across different points in times definitely delivers what you would expect from a Doctor Who adventure. The local coop makes this experience even better by making you feel like you are working with a real person to save time and space.

Doctor's hats and River's diary pages are the collectibles scattered throughout the game. Collecting a Fez or a Stetson is fun with 40 in total to find. River's diary pages also let you look at her diary for the first time ever, and it includes some hints as to where the next games may go. As far as these hints go, you do see a "weeping angel like" statue in the game. So expect them to make a visit in one of the future games.

Finally, a real Doctor Who game has been delivered to the fans. Game glitches aside, you get a well-scripted full game for a great price of $19.99. Hopefully the next game comes soon so the Doctor can solve all these timey wimey problems.

Game is filled with many glitches and a severe lack of polish. Glitches like the game booting you back to the XMB randomly, to AI River disappearing and just not working at all. You'll notice the lack of polish right from the start. When you walk out of the Tardis for the first time the Doctor is levitating above the walkway. There is no in game mouth movement to go along with the excellent voice acting. When interacting with object most the objects don't react and your character just looks weird moving its hands for imaginary motion.

Puzzles feel overused and not creative.

The co-op feature works great in this game and is great for the game design. Being local co-op only though is a huge drawback in the ability to take advantage of the Playstation Network. Maybe the next game will have online co-op.

As a Doctor Who fan, I can suffer through the glitches for the low entry price and excellent adventure, but it is hard to recommend this game if you're not familiar with the series.
