The Demon’s/Dark-Soulian boss-battle extravaganza Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is something you can plunge your sword into on April 25, 2018. Sure, it’s still a ways off, but that should give you enough time to mentally prepare yourself for the challenges that awaits you.
What challenges, you ask? Well, you’ll be battling against the seven deadly sins, which might seem like a bummer, but ultimately overcoming. What might make your wheels scream though, is that each victory is celebrated with a debuff. Fancy some lower health or crappy weapons? No? Too bad. The debuff is permanent, meaning you’ll get more fragile and weaker the further you get into the game. This is countered by unlockable weapons with increasing power, but you still have to survive, so there’s that. As you progress, more of the story around your hero and his unfortunate situation will surface.
Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption sounds like a condensed souls game, which is perfect for people who hate accidentally falling off cliffs on their way to a boss. It also sounds really, really hard. It’s being developed by Dark Star, published by Another Indie and will, as mentioned, be out on April 25 next year.
