There is a lot going in the latest gameplay from Need for Speed Payback. There’s gameplay mixed in with cut scenes with the sudden inclusion of takeouts that you love and miss from Burnout, and everything is so hectic and explosive-y that you sort of expect the cast from Fast and the Furious to show up any second.
The trailer below, shown during EA Play at E3, is a heist mission from Payback in which a fancy car is supposedly secure in a truck headed for somewhere. Things go nuts and shit explodes. I have no idea what this game is anymore, but I’ve always had a soft spot for takedowns.
