The future of Bioshock Vita is as unclear as it’s ever been

When Ken Levine announced Bioshock for Vita during Sony’s 2011 E3 presser, not a soul in the world took that ever happening for granted. And with reason. Details about its development and progress has been close to zero, and in July 2013 Levine addressed the masses saying that, yeah, we’re still trying to make it happen. It should come as no surprise that when queried about this after last weeks’ news of the Irrational’s disbandment, 2K chose to not comment on the matter.

I don’t know what a Bioshock on Vita would be, and while Levine promised an experience built from the ground up, the lack of expectations about this coming to fruition makes 2K’s reluctance to comment somewhat irrelevant.
