Killzone: Shadow Fall characters on PS4 have 4 times more polygons than Killzone 3 on PS3

In a technical document about Killzone: Shadow Fall released by Guerrilla Games it was revealed that the PS4 will be capable of having characters with 4 times the amount of polygons than in Killzone 3.

The character model below has around 40k polygons and 6 x 2k x 2k textures compared to KZ3 that used 10k polygons and 1k textures.
