Mass Effect trilogy warps Mass Effect 1 to PS3

November 6th sees the release of a deluxe package of all things Mass Effect, as the trilogy is wrapped into one delightful premium foil box of space adventures. PS3 owners will have to wait a bit longer though, but for some it might just be worth it. You see, the first game in series will finally be made available on PS3, giving you the opportunity to take in the complete epicness that is Mass Effect.

Also featured in the package will be, well, artwork. Which is nice for the fans! We like art. Check out the announcement over at Bioware. EA is also declaring November 7th as the N7 day, which will be the day for all things Mass Effect including in-game events as well as real world events. As long as we don’t get invaded I’m happy.

We will get back to you as soon as the date spins out of the wormhole in which it resides.

I don’t know how many times I’ve tried to get into this series. I love sci-fi so logically i should be all over this, but for me there is something to the animations and shooting that I just don’t like. Maybe give it another try with ME1 :)

I don’t think that’ll help. It has evolved over the iterations. But then again, I had no issues with anmations/shooting in 2 and 3, they are perfectly fine in my opinion. Like a lot of big (in sense of scope) games you often need to play a few hours before it either clicks or doesn’t.

I for one will not be getting Mass Effect 1 once it arrives. I’ve put so many hours into 2 and 3 that for I’ve … out-played these games.

I honestly think Mass Effect 1 was a better game than 2 and 3. Before they turned the series into a 3rd person shooter. Might pick this up to play through the whole trilogy on the ps3 though. Does it come with all the dlc for all the games?
