It’s been quite the year for Hideo Kojima so this seems like an uplifting way to end it. Rumored, but properly announced today, Hideo Kojima’s own independent studio Kojima Productions has signed an agreement with Sony Computer Entertainment which means its first title will be an console exclusive for the PlayStation 4 (and thus probably end up on PC as well).
PlayStation’s history is one of game innovation and great new franchises. Hideo Kojima has been a huge part of that history, and we are therefore delighted that he has chosen to bring his brand new project to life in partnership with PlayStation.
