Chernobyl series creator Craig Mazin and Naughty Dogs’ Neil Druckmann team up to make The Last of Us for HBO

Rarely do you see so many amazing names in a single headline as with this one. Chernobyl writer and producer Craig Mazin will be joining forces with Neil Druckmann of Naughty Dog to create a series adaptation of The Last of Us. This will happen on what is probably the only network that can do right by the franchise (but please correct me if I’m wrong).

This will be the first series to come out of PlayStation Productions which was founded last year. Details are sparse, but Neil writes on Twitter that he’s looking forward to tell the tale of Joel and Ellie, so safe to assume these characters will headline the show?
