In what has become a week of delays, Cyberpunk 2077 is the latest one to move out of the announced April date, and is instead settling for a fall release. More specifically you will get to play around in Night City on September 17 if all goes well.
CD Project Red has informed the world that such a vast and complicated game needs more time in order to thoroughly test every nook and cranny for potential hiccups and dreadful bugs. They want it to be their crowning achievement for this generation, and to in order to continue their legacy with games like the incredible Witcher 3, it makes sense to do so. Square Enix might be a little bit bummed though.
