Watch the world of No Man’s Sky come alive in the launch trailer for Beyond

The road that No Man’s Sky has taken is not one devoid of challenges. From a rocky, and in my opinion somewhat unfairly judged launch, through iterations and iterations of small and big updates, No Man’s Sky has grown into quite the beast. For a new player jumping in, this must be a daunting experience.

The Beyond is the culmination of three separate planned updates, and spans everything from VR support to almost a fully fledged MMO. And whether you are in VR or not, playing with friends or not, rest assured that you can mount a giant crab and traverse a planet that way. The update launches on August 14.
