After staring at weird hand prints on an oily surface for 2-3 hours last night, I finally caved in and went to bed. Things changed today though, and whether it was the surge from 10 00 viewers to 110 00 that did it in some trendy interactive way, or if it was just time, the release date trailer for Death Stranding finally revealed itself with all the question marks, fascinated looks and Norman Reedus you would expect from it.
It’s almost 9 minutes long and gives a fair glimpse of the world, a little bit of lore, tools at your disposal, combat as well as heaps of the type of cut scenes you come to expect from Kojima. It looks good, I’ll say that, but as always you might think you have a clue about what’s going on when it’s probably fair to say you have no idea. That’s part of the package.
Check out the trailer below and behold some of the stuff you will experience on November 8. The game will launch with a standard edition, a special edition, a digital deluxe edition and the coveted collector’s edition. I’m just assuming it’s coveted though.
