Tetris Effect is a dazzling version of the puzzler by the people behind Rez and Lumines

As the first of 3 reveals leading up to E3, Tetris Effect got announced today. The well known block puzzler is being re-imagined by Enhance Games and will support PSVR. Modes will include already familiar Marathon, Ultra, and Sprint with more to be announced down the line. You can also stop time in a last ditch effort to sort out the mess you made before it’s too late.

With the pedigree from the fine people making Rez and Lumines, Tetris Effect pops right out of the screen with particles, lights and the sounds to accompany that particular style. It will support full HD, 4k/60 (pro) and VR, and it looks like all of them will display the game rather delightfully.

A demo is planned down the line, followed by a release this fall.
