Mega Man 11 announced for 2018

Remember Mighty No 9 from Comcept? Of course you don’t. It was a supposedly fresh air of Mega Man-ish platforming that ended up but a fart in the wind. But that was then and this is now, and Capcom announced today during their Mega Man 30th anniversary that they are making Mega Man 11, and it will be out next year. And how does it look? And awfully lot like Might No 9.

Mega Man gets his 2018 makeup on, and introduces a fresher look in a 2.5D design that separates it from the flock of previous games. It remains to be seen if this will turn out a-okay, but you can get a glimpse of the action in the trailer below.

Happy 30th birthday, Mega Man, let’s hope this one rocks our world!
