Sucker Punch brings open world samurai action in feudal Japan to PS4

The collective choir of Sucker Punch fans worldwide emitted a loud “finally!” as their logo appeared on-screen amidst katanas, burning villages and one angry samurai. There are no electrifying powers here, but that doesn’t make the potential of Ghost of Tsushima any less electric.

Ghost of Tsushima is an open world samurai action adventure set in feudal Japan. It’s man vs army, and it looks pretty breathtaking based on the in-engine trailer below. Yes, in-engine, but let’s wait and see, shall we?

It’s been five years in development already, so I’m feeling cautiously optimistic for a 2018 release.
