In a video released today, game director Yu Suzuki announced a delay for backer-supported Shenmue 3. The preliminary release date for the game is now somewhere in the 2nd half of 2018. Yu says the game is evolving into something bigger and more beautiful than he initially anticipated, which may come as a small comfort to fans eagerly waiting for its release.
