The next Need for Speed comes with cars, an exciting open world and a pause button

Just in time for earning calls and other business-y things, EA and Ghost Games shed a tiny bit of light on what the next Need for Speed is. It’s not an update that oozes of surprises, but what you get confirmed is perhaps what you would expect from a new Need for Speed: Cars, speed, forward and sideways driving, cops and a vast open world with new things to do in it.

After some harsh words from fans and non-fans after the previous game, there will be a way for you to play the whole game in single player and even pause the thing when you very well wish to.

There will be more info during EA Play next month, so expect some kind of trailer and more details with a release following late this year.
