FuturLab is combining slot car racing and VR in their upcoming game Tiny Trax

All those colors!

Tiny Trax is a slot car racer featuring lane-shifting, boost, drift, and perhaps the nugget above all wheel caps: It’s in VR.

You’ll literally have the track above/below/around you as you control the vehicle like you would a remote car. There will be 12 tracks, 4 cups and online multiplayer for up to 4 people.

When asked about a track editor, FuturLab says there wasn’t enough resources to implement such a feature, but that it can be expected in a sequel some time in the future.
