The Path Finder update for No Man’s Sky will make space great again

The fine people over at Hello Games have been keeping busy, and that could very well be an understatement. When watching their trailer for their upcoming No Man’s Sky update, The Path Finder, it’s hard to not get a tiny bit impressed with what’s to come. What is sometimes called a sinking ship on the vast space that is the internet, might just sky-rocket away in the near future.

These are some of the bullet points to keep an eye on for the update:

· PS4 Pro support, including 4K support
· Exocraft vehicles to roam the planets. This should make exploring more fun, and resource gathering a whole lot less tedious.
· Photo mode
· Base sharing. People can visit your pad and leave a message
· Permadeath mode with additional trophies for that particular challenge
· Classes to apply on weapons and gear (explorer, fighter, trader)
· The option to own multiple ships
· New music (about 50% more new music according to Hello Games)

The Exocraft is a particular highlight for me because it looks like a hoot to drive, and it also reduced the time spent just harvesting stuff.

These are just some of the things coming, you can check out a more complete list over at the PS Blog. Now tell me, is this enough to get you back? Because I’m tempted.
