Native 4k and mod support for Skyrim, Fallout 4 gets the mod treatment too

Whatever disagreement Sony and Bethesda had about mod support, it’s resolved. The middle road they agreed on means only existing assets within the games will be allowed in the mods, pretty much alienating external assets. Security issues connected to external assets was probably one of the deal breakers in round one of the discussions.

If you’re planning on playing Skyrim again, you’ll be pretty happy to learn that it will definitely take advantage of the extra oomph that the PS4 Pro comes packed with. They even manage to render the game at 4k natively. Work will also be done to Fallout 4 which means better graphics and lighting, but no confirmation whether it’ll upscale or render in native 4k like Skyrim.
