Well, that was sort of out of nowhere. Apparently with the help of the game’s original developer, Korean developer and publisher CFK has taken upon themselves to release and updated version of this ancient platformer (1986). Wonder Boy Returns features crisp, “new” graphics with the addition of new stages and monsters. While their statement only mentions Steam, there’s an uninspired trophy list on this very site that might suggest a PS4 release in the near future.
