Rise of Iron expansion for Destiny comes with new raid, new location and the Gjallarhorn

If you’re like me and have your Destiny disc firmly resting on a shelf, this could be the excuse you and I need to get back into the action. The Rise of Iron expansion for Destiny will launch on September 20th and comes packed with – hopefully – enough content to last a little while.

First off there will be a new location on Earth called the Plaguelands. This includes a new story, a new raid, a new strike, a light increase, new social hub as well as new gear and weapons. Fans of the nerfed Gjallarhorn will be happy to hear that it will make a triumphant return in Rise of Iron. There will also be an additional mode for multiplayer if you’re into that bit.

The $20 expansion requires all previous DLC when it releases this fall.
