The bricks are strong in this one – Lego SW: The Force Awakens comes this June

You can’t just announce a game anymore, can you? Leaked through so many channels it’s just becoming a joke, Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens was properly revealed a few hours later. Perhaps even less surprising is the fact that they are making a Lego version at all.

It will be out on June 28 for PS4, PS3 and Vita. Content-wise you’ll get to do all the fun stuff from the Force Awakens as well as some custom content that bridges the story between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. You’ll get to meet and play as absolutely everyone you’d expect, so rolling around as BB-8 should be a ball.

While they’re never leaps and bounds in terms of new stuff between each iteration, at least there’s something new in this one as well in the form of multi-builds. Basically a thing you have to build to progress doesn’t necessarily have to be just that one thing, it can be one of multiple choices. Sounds alright to me.

Additionally there will be some exclusive content for the PS4 and PS3 version in the (lego) shape of the Droid Character Pack and the Phantom Limb Level Pack.
