Nothing says summer excursion like hanging out with a cult in South America

Welcome, you’re about to spend some time with people that, according to The Following at least, are a bunch of murdering crazies. It might not be that dire in The Church in the Darkness, but it sure looks bleak. You play as Vic on a mission to figure out what’s going on with your nephew within the walls of Freedom Town, the cult’s hangout in the South American jungles. Freedom Town is led by Rebecca and Isaac Walker, and voiced by Ellen McLain (GLaDOS from Portal) and John Patrick Lowrie (Sniper from Team Fortress 2). How you play the game is up to you, and the developers promise a unique playthrough evey time. So if the game and its setting don’t creep you the hell out, you could always go at it again from another angle.

It will be out early next year on PlayStation 4.
