Personally I’m not a fan of putting things inside my ear, but let’s set that aside for a moment and take a look at what we’re getting next month. The somewhat pricey (£77.99/€89.99) set most prominently features the noise-reducing AudioShield technology which makes you able to completely ignore everything and everyone around you while you’re gaming. Make sure you pay attention when your better half’s lips move though. It also has a built-in microphone, about 15 hours of rechargeable battery life for the noise reduction feature, mute switch, small, medium and large interchangeable ear-tips and volume controls. It does of course fit snuggly into your controller, but can also be used with other devices if you so choose.
If you can get over the fact that it’s really expensive, the headset will be out December 4th in the UK and Ireland while the rest of us will get our hands on it on December 9th. Maybe something for that Christmas wishlist.
