If you were gearing up for some creative yet stealthy kills in Hitman this year you might want to put away that fiber wire and wait until March 2016. The initial release plan was to put out a good chunk of the game and then follow up with more content and locations. Io-Interactive seems to think that what they had initially planned was a bit on the light side, and so the decision to move the release date was made. Now more content will be available at launch and the trickle of new stuff will happen more often. Seems wise to me as I tend to “forget” about a game whenever I have to wait months for new content to drop and will already have moved on to the next thing.
As a little comfort gift to the announcement, they added a little infographic describing some of the major differences – particularly in scope – between Hitman: Absolution and the upcoming game. Check it out.
