The Street Fighter V beta is a bust, will resurface later

If you’re still clicking that “Yes”-button in Street Fighter V, I urge you to stop. Capcom has wisely decided to take down the servers and will initiate the beta again at a later point. The point of a beta is usually to test these exact things, but they didn’t imagine it would go this wrong. Those with beta access through pre-orders as well as everyone else are promised an in-game incentive for their trouble. After a global meltdown, Capcom decided to turn off all servers and then focus on the American servers and troubleshoot there. With no proper progress to speak of, it was then decided to postpone the whole thing. Exactly when it will return is not known yet, but I’m sure the internet will explode once more when details become available, so you’ll know.

Full announcement over at Capcom Unity.
