Tarsier secures funding for new IP “Hunger” – aiming for PS4 release

Tarsier, known for their brilliant LittleBigPlanet Vita game and Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic, were awarded 500.000 Danish Kroner (67.000 EUR) in support of the development of their new concept IP with the working title Hunger. This happened today at the Nordic Game Conference 2014. Hunger is a 3rd person adventure game featuring a 9 year old girl named Six. She’s kidnapped and you’ll see to her release in an adventure through a world that’s aiming to be both bizarre and unpredictable. You can read the full synopsis on the game page, but enjoy the moody concept art below before you leave.

The plan is to make it a downloadable title for PS4.

This is not only a huge vote of confidence from the Nordic Game Program expert group. The grant enables us to explore an idea we are deeply passionate about. Hunger holds fantastic potential, and our job now is to harness that promise into a great experience.Ola Holmdahl, CEO Tarsier
