Next-gen Hitman silently assassinated – focus is on mobile titles

After last year’s announcement that Square Enix Montreal would focus on mobile titles, little hope was left for the rumored next-gen outing of Hitman. Hitman: Absolution was quite good, but left a bit to be desired and this could’ve been a nice time to up the ante even more. Instead the studio is supposedly in development of an unannounced Hitman game for iOS and Android. Sad times indeed.
