New screenshots and trailer for The Division looks very realistic

Here’s a couple of stunning new screenshots and a brand new trailer for the PS4 title The Division. The trailer details the game’s engine, Snowdrop, made by Massive Entertainment. The Swedish based developer shows off the dynamic day/night cycle, lighting system, realistic surfaces including destruction, particle systems and shaders. The best part of the video shows how the snow cover melts away in the sun and freezes into ice. Just remarkable.

Watch the video and screens below. The game will be out for PlayStation 4 “closer to the end” of 2014, as Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot announced in July.
