El Shaddai game director’s new Studio buys all rights to IP

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron was developed and released by Ignition Entertainment on PlayStation 3 back in 2011. Fast forward to 2013 and Crim, studio started by Takeyasu Sawaki, has successfully bought the IP rights to the game including prequels and sequels.

“We would like to announce that Crim has acquired the El Shaddai IP from Ignition Entertainment. This acquisition entails prequel, sequel and all other derivative rights of the existing game. Crim will work with the Entertainment industry to develop a potential El Shaddai business moving forward.”
