The Canadian composer Normand Corbeil lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on Friday, after being diagnosed in August 2012. He was 56 years old.

In 2011 he won a BAFTA and the award for best music at The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences for his amazing work on Heavy Rain. He also composed the music for games like Indigo Prophecy and Beyond: Two Souls, in addition to more than 50 movies and TV-series since his start in 1987.
