Knytt Underground coming to PS3 and Vita

Nifflas, a swedish indie developer, is releasing a totally charming platformer this week for PS3 and PS Vita! The game is called Knytt Underground and it takes place in the distant future where humans destroyed the planet in a war five hundred years ago. The only remaining inhabitants of earth are these Sprites searching for their origin. You control a female sprite called Mi and you can run, climb, jump, swing, bounce and also transform into a ball whenever you feel like it! In order to find out about the meaning of life and also save the entire planet you need to find and ring these six bells of fate before its too late.

The huge underground world consists of over 1,800 rooms for you to explore.

The developer Nifflas’ Nicklas Nygren described the game like this over at IndieGames:

“Knytt Underground is the biggest game I’ve ever developed and is the first game where I feel that I have a story to tell, It’s about the big questions; trying to understand life and our place in it — and failing completely.”

This title is CrossBuy and CrossPlay (with cloud save) and will be out this week. I really dig the organic and serene art style, check the launch trailer and tell us what you think.

Oh, I forgot to mention that this is free for EU PS Plus Instant Game Collection!
