PS3 sales hit 70 million worldwide


Sony has now confirmed a rather big milestone by reaching 70 million PS3’s sold world wide since the release six years ago. Compared to the PS2 154 million and the original PS 28 million. Sony also announced PS Move passed 15 million units sold with more than 400 supported titles.

To put this in context the Microsoft Xbox 360 console reached 70 million back in September with a full year head start. The Nintendo Wii is still in the lead with 97 million units sold.
