One game to rule them all

TT Games is at it again. This time they rebuilt the whole middle-earth brick by brick with Legos. The result, LEGO The Lord of the Rings, will release on PS3 and PS Vita this fall.

Tom Stone, Managing Director over at  TT Games had this to say about the legendary fantasy saga by J.R.R. Tolkien:

“We are huge aficionados of The Lord of the Rings franchise and are incredibly excited to put our special LEGO family-friendly touch on this classic fantasy adventure. We’ve taken what fans are familiar with and love about The Lord of the Rings films and combined it with the playful LEGO style, which makes the story and gameplay accessible to gamers of all ages.”

LEGO The Lord of the Rings is based on The Lord of the Rings motion picture trilogy and follows the original storylines of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the RingThe Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

New in this iteration of LEGO games is the addition of speech! But instead of recording new material by voice actors TT Games will be using audio directly from the movies. I think this will add to the cinematic feel of the game.
