More than 10 facts about Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault

Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault will be taking aim on PSN in 2012, as always with yet another suggestive title.

Ted Price, CEO of Insomniac Games, announced to the world today that a new iteration of the Ratchet franchise is in the works and coming later this year. Although information at the time is sparse, comments on the PSBLOG suggest the following tidbits:

The developers promise classic feel, camera, controls and weapons.

The game is approximately as long as Quest for Booty.

It will encourage you to replay it suggesting some kind of online mode.

It will be priced more like a PSN game than a full retail game.

A special innovative online mode introducing a new way to play the game. Maybe this means Time attack, Horde mode or some kind of Co-op play.

The game will not contain any “time puzzles” like in A Crack in Time although another twist to the gameplay will be included.

Vita version is unlikely.

The game will be called Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force in Europe (because of localization reasons) and will also be released on disc.

Captain Qwark will be in the game.

It takes place after the storyline of All 4 One.

The game will be released the same week in both Europe and North America.

It will be a PSN exclusive release.
